    Inside Sales Associate

    Prolifics seeks an Inside Sales Associate (ISA) to join our Orlando, Florida Inside Sales team. As an ISA, you will embrace social selling tools such as LinkedIn and Twitter, as well as traditional tele and web routes (chat, video and mobile tools), and partnering with vendor Digital Sales teams (such as IBM and Informatica) to develop and qualify incoming leads, with the objective of winning new customers for Prolifics. 

     

    The Inside Sales Associate is both persistent and creative and will connect with Business to Business (B2B) prospects to uncover interest in specific Prolifics solutions and develop validated leads and qualified opportunities in response to marketing initiatives. In these discussions with clients, they will discuss their business environment, identify their priorities, determine the most appropriate Prolifics solutions, and engage the appropriate Prolifics Account Executive (AE, colleague) to own and close the business opportunity.  In some cases, they will have the opportunity to close a software sale or pre-packaged offering via the phone without the need of engaging with an AE.

     

    The career path for the Inside Sales Associate is into our field sales team as an Account Executive. 

     

    ISA Responsibilities: 

    • Work with Business Development team and Sales leadership to understand Prolifics’ offerings and “sales plays”.
    • Make outbound calls and social media contact with potential customers – often pre-prepared lists of customers and contacts will be provided.
    • Work closely with the Prolifics Lead Generation team, who is focused on doing advanced market/account research and providing target contact information to the Inside Sales team.
    • Maintain meetings/pipeline forecasting using existing CRM system (Salesforce)
    • Interact with Prolifics’ Marketing, field sales, and software teams as required
    • Qualify and set-up meetings for viable opportunities
    • Develop and maintain relationships with aligned IBM resources and technology partners to increase our network, influence and credibility
    • Interact with clients as necessary to understand how the offerings/plays need to be adapted to meet the market demand. Provide feedback on market acceptance of various offerings to inform messaging adjustments.

    Required Qualifications / Profile: 

    • Bachelor's degree 
    • Demonstration of achievement, with tenacity and determination
    • Articulate, clear, and with ability to communicate adequately in writing
    • Creative mind, can think on feet.
    • Positive, can do attitude, team player
    • Potential to develop into field sales role
