Required DevOps/Cloud Skills:
- Architecture, Design and hands on experience in Implementation and Deployment of Cloud native services.
- Building Cloud Native services on AWS/Azure cloud platform.
- Experience administering cloud based solutions in AWS and Azure highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cloud automation and deployment tools such as Chef, Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation templates, Azure ARM templates
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Hands on Experience on Container Orchestration Environment – RedHat Open Shift/EKS/Kubernetes.
- Scripting language competency (bash, shell, PowerShell)
- Proficiency in Tomcat
- OS Competency in UNIX
- Hands on Experience with Cloud Networking concepts - VPC, Load Balancers
- Hands on Experience with Cloud Security : Authentication/Authorization - IAM, Identity Federation, Security Groups, NACL
- Experience with Cloud Migration skills: design and implement the Legacy platform on the public clouds.
- Hands on Experience with Cloud Cost estimation and migration tools.
- Ability to explain and motivate design decisions using required tools
Nice to have:
- Professional AWS and/or Azure Certifications would be plus.
- Consulting role i.e. comfortable working with a customer to understand their requirements (whiteboard solution with customer), constraints; come up with a design; implement and test; rollout solution
- Experience of working in an agile team using sprints
