Primary Responsibilities:
- Independently evaluate and identify dependencies, gaps, and risks across multiple software modernization programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic direction.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance for program execution, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize work and drive milestones.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and dependencies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of program objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, analyzing business needs and translating them into actionable project plans.
- Conduct impact assessments to determine the effect of proposed changes on existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Skills required
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, and/or business analysis.
- Proven track record of overseeing and guiding multiple, complex software modernization programs.
- Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to independently evaluate and identify dependencies, gaps, and risks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in financial services industry is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint and JIRA.
- Prior experience working in global and remote teams.
- Technical proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation.
