Job Description:
WMS/Distribution is an experienced IT professional dealing with the implementation, enhancement, validation, and maintenance of IT application and/or infrastructure systems in support of our retail distribution center operations.We are implementing a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Application from Manhattan Associates at a Distribution Center.
Technical Skills/Background
- Works collaboratively with partners in IT, business areas and vendors in understanding, documenting, and enhancing business requirements to create functional and technical specifications
- Leads the design, build, validation, implementation, and maintenance of application systems required for warehouse/distribution center operations in support of our current and future business needs
- Leads analyzing and documenting detail data interfaces requirements to and from various warehouse management applications, in particular, the WMS application
- 4+ years of Strong experience of testing Manhattan PKMS is required
- Candidate should have Sound Knowledge on TMS application usage.
- WMO's knowledge would be plus
- Knowledge on Proship application will be added advantage
- Knowledge of PKMS configurations and inner workings will be a plus.
- Strong experience in Testing Life Cycle Processes, Test Case Designs, Test Executions, and client interactions.
- Expertise with open source automation tools, like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber
- Strong Java development knowledge is required
- Hands on RDBMS concepts and experience with SQL (preferably DB2, Oracle)
- Experienced and knowledgeable on automation best practices
Functional/Application/Process Skills:
- Experience on Agile process and hands-on Agile-Scrum using JIRA and Project Management SCRUM Concepts
- Experience in Retail supply chain systems (Manhattan PKMS (AS400), TMS, WMO )
- Experience or good knowledge on Warehouse Management systems
- Knowledge on test data management.
