Overview

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks including Unity catalog, MLOps, Feature stores, Data lake, Lakehouse architecture, Open Lake
  • Working knowledge of Delta Tables, Iceberg tables, Delta Lake and associated data related platform extensions
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Data Lakehouse architectures.
  • Strong expertise in migrating traditional ETL processes to Databricks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering and pipeline development.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure and/GCP cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of DataRobot, Alteryx and similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of Apache Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch frameworks, SQL
  • Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI is desirable.
