Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing data pipelines, SQL queries, and data visualization tools. They will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability across our data platforms, working closely with data engineers and business intelligence teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines.
• Validate data transformations, integrity, and accuracy across different stages of the pipeline.
• Write and execute SQL queries to perform data validation and verification.
• Develop and implement automated data testing strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Work with Power BI dashboards and reports to verify data consistency and visualization accuracy.
• Test performance and scalability of Amazon Redshift data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements, testing strategies, and best practices for data quality assurance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar data testing role.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries for data validation.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization testing.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and data warehouse testing.
• Understanding of ETL testing methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks for data validation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
