Prolifics is seeking a RMS (Retail Merchandising System) Engineer with retail domain experience in Merchandising and Inventory Management using Oracle RMS to join our highly successful Quality Assurance & Test Automation Practice. This is a contract position to join an established client project and will require  on-site work on client premises 3 days per week in either the San Francisco, or Sacramento offices. Job Description:

We are seeking for 8+ years RMS QE for Retail Merchandising System (RMS), ensuring it meets business requirements and provides seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Expert in retail domain – should specifically have experience of RMS/ Inventory Management
• Develop and execute test plans and cases based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
• Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Report test progress and issues to project stakeholders.
• working with customers and coordination with QA and Dev teams
• Self-starter with the ability to handle medium to large projects independently
• Background in complex project execution with responsibilities including on-site delivery, working with customers and coordination with offshore teams

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of retail operations (inventory, order management, supply chain).
• Proficiency in Functional testing.
• Expertise in the automated testing using Selenium
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• STIBO master data management experience is added advantage as we are migrating to PIM
• Knowledge of Postman/Soap UI
• Knowledge on UNIX command
• Order Management/Supply chain knowledge
