The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our team, supporting a prestigious London law firm with the delivery of a key internal application, Matter Enquiry. This is a fully agile project with cross-functional collaboration and an emphasis on automation, quality assurance, and delivery excellence. You’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, well-structured test data, and accurately maintained defect logs. A key part of the role involves building a robust automated regression pack, integrated into Azure DevOps pipelines. You’ll also produce high-quality test evidence, clear handover documentation, and concise closure reports to support delivery assurance. Throughout the engagement, you’ll actively track risks and issues, contributing to delivery confidence and ongoing quality improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver end-to-end testing for new client and matter pages, search features, and role-based security
• Lead test planning, design, execution, defect management, and closure activities in sprint cycles
• Work closely with development, QA, PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure coverage and quality
• Build and maintain a robust test automation suite using Microsoft Playwright (.NET) integrated with Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Maintain supporting documentation including test matrices, RAID logs, and handover packs
• Manage test data and traceability from requirements through to execution and reporting

Required Experience / Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst or QA Lead in agile delivery environments
• Strong functional testing background including UI and data validation
• Experience in test automation using Playwright and C# within a .NET ecosystem
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub (for version control), and pipeline configuration
• Strong stakeholder engagement, including defect triage and sprint planning involvement
• Understanding of security testing principles, particularly role-based access control
• Experience testing applications integrating with data warehouses or search tools (e.g. Azure Search) is a bonus

Desirable Experience / Skills

• Experience testing in the Legal or Professional Services sectors
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation into release processes
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
