Job Description:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in QA, with strong exposure to functional and API testing.
- Hands-on experience in API automation frameworks and scripting.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar.
- Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.
- Ability to develop test plans, strategies, and accurate effort estimations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end functional testing of web and mobile applications.
- Design, develop, and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, etc.
- Implement and maintain API test automation suites.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and scope.
- Create and manage test strategies, test plans, and test estimations.
- Track and report defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Use test case and project management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
