Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and driven MuleSoft Architect or Senior Technical Lead to design, lead, and deliver integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and cloud-native architecture, along with strong leadership skills to mentor teams and interface with stakeholders across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Design
- Design and develop scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Define API-led connectivity approaches and reusable assets for enterprise-wide adoption.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to define solution architecture.
- Technical Leadership
- Lead MuleSoft implementation teams across multiple projects.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to architecture guidelines.
- Provide technical mentorship to developers and support skill-building initiatives.
- Solution Delivery
- Engage in end-to-end delivery including requirement analysis, estimation, development, deployment, and support.
- Design and manage API lifecycle: design, versioning, security, monitoring, and governance.
- Enable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of MuleSoft assets.
- Innovation & Consulting
- Evaluate and recommend tools, accelerators, and integration patterns for client needs.
- Conduct POCs, create solution accelerators, and contribute to internal innovation.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure.
- Participate in pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, solutioning, and client demos when needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8–12 years of total IT experience with 6+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong understanding of API-led architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration best practices.
- Expertise in developing RAML-based APIs, Mule 4 applications, and managing API policies.
- Deep knowledge of protocols such as HTTP(S), JMS, AMQP, and formats like JSON, XML, CSV.
- Experience with MuleSoft CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployments.
- Solid experience in security implementation (OAuth2, SAML, TLS, LDAP, etc.).
- Proficiency in CI/CD, source control (Git), and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Experience with MUnit for automated testing and Anypoint Monitoring for operational observability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect / Platform Architect / Developer.
- Experience integrating with SaaS platforms like Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP services in integration contexts.
- Exposure to other integration tools such as IBM ACE, Dell Boomi, or SAP CPI is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
