Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise across the IBM Integration suite, including Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), MQ, DataPower, Managed File Transfer (MFT), and API Connect (APIC). The ideal candidate will lead solution implementation and delivery across multiple integration projects, provide technical guidance to teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality integration outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using IBM integration products (CP4I, ACE, MQ, DP, MFT, APIC).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to implement scalable and secure integration solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including interface specifications, sequence diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Support and troubleshoot complex integration issues across environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).
- Ensure performance tuning and optimization of integration components.
- Work with operations teams for deployment, monitoring, and incident management.
- Contribute to planning, estimation, and risk assessment for integration projects.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7–10 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in integration development and leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- IBM MQ (Queue configuration, clustering, HA setups)
- IBM DataPower (Policies, GatewayScript, security configs)
- IBM API Connect (v10 preferred) – API creation, publishing, and management
- IBM MFT – File transfer coordination and scripting
- Working knowledge of CP4I on OpenShift or Kubernetes-based deployment platforms.
- Good understanding of security protocols – OAuth2, TLS, certificates, mutual TLS, LDAP integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, ArgoCD) and deployment pipelines.
- Proficient in working with JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and message formats like CSV/EDI.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to containerized deployments on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus).
- Experience in performance testing and tuning of integration solutions.
- IBM certifications in ACE, MQ, or API Connect are a plus.
