Job Title: Sr Data Engineer                              

Primary Skill: TurboIntegrator scripting, MDX, and TM1 Rules.

Secondary Skill: Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Location: Hyderabad                                        

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc

YOE: 4-6 yrs

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Development:

• Design and implement TM1 models, cubes, rules, and processes aligned with business planning needs.
• Develop TurboIntegrator (TI) processes for data integration, transformation, and automation.
• Optimize performance and scalability of TM1 applications across business units.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with Business Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Present technical designs and prototypes to senior stakeholders for feedback and alignment.

Governance & Compliance:

• Ensure TM1 implementations adhere to enterprise compliance standards, including licensing, auditability, and data security.
• Maintain documentation for models, processes, and change controls.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation, performance tuning, and process simplification.
• Stay current with IBM Planning Analytics updates and industry best practices.

Support & Maintenance:

• Provide L2/L3 support for TM1 applications, resolving issues and ensuring uptime.
• Monitor system health and proactively address performance bottlenecks

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including TM1 Web and TM1 Perspectives/PAX.
• Strong proficiency in TurboIntegrator scripting, MDX, and TM1 Rules.
• Experience with data integration from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and flat files.

• Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and enterprise IT governance.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, or related field; certifications in TM1 or Planning Analytics preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TM1 REST API and integration with external reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos).
• Exposure to cloud-based TM1 deployments and containerization.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
